Welcome to the web site for Thornbury Town Football Club. Situated in the historical market town of Thornbury in South Gloucestershire the club runs two adult teams and a youth section running from U6 to U18 and caters for both male and female teams. The exact date of the formation of a football club in Thornbury is uncertain, but it is known that football was being played in the town in 1896 and that there was a Thornbury Town Club in 1898. The youth section was originally formed in 1990 as a separate club (Thornbury Falcons) and ran in this capacity for many successful years covering teams for boys and girls up to U16. In 2010 the two clubs merged to form a new Thornbury Town FC while retaining adult and junior sections (up to U18). The youth section is a parent led organisation with the simple aim to provide an environment within which all boys and girls are able to play, enjoy and develop all aspects of football. This site is designed to help all members of the club and others; on it you'll find general information as well as fixtures, results and maps for pitches.
