Management committee responsibilities

Boot bag co-ordinator (co-opted) Collect second hand boots and make them available to those in need.

Chairman Chair Management Committee meetings. Promote Club identity. Co-ordinate & organise Management Committee activities. Set Agenda for Management Committee meetings. One of three signatories for Club cheques. Any two of three to sign all cheques.

Fixture secretary Obtain League fixtures. Prepare a schedule of all Club matches to ensure that there is no double booking of pitches.

kit co-ordinator (co-opted) Keep spare kits and make them available to teams needing change of colours. Co-ordinate the purchase of new kits ensuring that sponsors money is received. Keep list of new sponsors.

Membership Secretary Issue Membership forms to parents to record who is a member. Complete a Register of players including Date of Birth, Address, Tel Nr, Team played for and School attended. Compare Club Membership with League Registrations.

Minutes Secretary Take minutes of Management Committee meetings. Issue typed copy of minutes to Management Committee & keep a file containing all minutes duly signed by Chairman.

Newsletter co-ordinator (co-opted) Co-ordinate the preparation of a newsletter 4 times a year, at the end of October, December, February, April. Distribute to Managers to hand out to players & parents.

Parent Representative Advise the Management Committee of any feedback from Parents.

Pitch Secretary Arrange with schools / Council for use of pitches. Establish when pitches are available. Check pitches for vandalism, marking and general condition. Check pitches during bad weather and liaise with managers and referees regarding postponing matches.

Player representative (co-opted) Advise the Management Committee of any feedback from Players.

Press Secretary Prepare any Press release.

Promotions Secretary Co-ordinate the purchase and sale of Falcons memorabilia at a profit. Attend as many Falcons functions as possible with goods for sale and be prepared to take orders.

Secretary Receive and attend to correspondence. Sign League Registration forms and ensure they are submitted to League Official. Liaise with League organisations. Ensure attendance at League meetings & that Managers are advised of all matters that affect their team. Advise Management Committee of letters received from League and matters discussed at their meetings that affect the Whole Club. Advise Management Committee of fines incurred & ensure Treasurer pays them. Ensure that Managers keep a record of all matches played and who played in them. One of three signatories for Club cheques. Any two of three to sign all cheques.

Social Secretary Organise and co-ordinate Social activities to bring members together and foster a club atmosphere. Organise fund raising activities. Report to Management Committee of proposed activities for their authorisation.

Treasurer Keep accurate records of all financial activities of the Club. Prepare a brief resume of income and expenditure for each Management Committee meeting. Ensure that all money received is properly identified. Prepare Statement of Account for discussion at Management Committee meeting immediately prior to AGM. Arrange for Accounts to be audited in due time for AGM. Prepare Statement of Account for GYFA within 28 days of AGM. One of three signatories for Club cheques. Any two of three to sign all cheques.

Vice Chairman Chair Management Committee meetings in absence of Chairman.

Webmaster (co-opted) Publicise the Club on the Internet. Collect information from members and broadcasts onto the website. Ensure that nothing offensive is published on the website.

100 club promoter Keep records of members of the 100 Club. Deposit entry fees and withdraw Prize money. Draw Prize Winners monthly and distribute Prizes to winners
