How did we lose this?
After a low key first half we absolutely battered our opposition, creating chance after chance, but failed to convert any!
Tom Webb deftly chipped the keeper only to see his effort bounce over the crossbar, Smudge hit the post, we had numerous cross shots that no one got on the end of and conceded when a clearance from a defender ballooned in off one of their lads!
Football can be a cruel game at times, but we definitely desreved more from this one. This game did just about sum up our season.
Missing three regular starters, Dave Watola, Alex Ormerod and Jonny Webber, so with the bare 11, this was a great effort from the lads.Squad: Lewis, Carter, Cox, Channelle, Watts, Haigh, Tweed, Olive, Howard, Webb, Smith. Man of the Match: A joint award as Pete went for Dave Tweed and I went for Jake Cox. Both played well under difficult circumstances.
